If you're considering renting a car, we suggest using Turo or renting directly from the car rental facilities at SFO or SJC.
For those who are unfamiliar with the area, Highway 17 is a windy highway. Most maps will direct you through Highway 17 from SFO or SJC. We recommend using your maps app to find alternative routes if you prefer to avoid Highway 17. Otherwise, take it slow and enjoy the views!
